FAQ

Questions before commissioning the audit.

Plain answers about scope, evidence, figures and what happens next.

What do I receive?

You receive a practical commercial SWOT report covering your business position, website and digital presence, local context, competitor comparison, customer sentiment, strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, threats and top immediate actions.

How long does it take?

Timing is confirmed when the scope is agreed. The work starts once the brief, intake information and payment position are clear.

Do you only work with businesses near Stilton?

No. Simon is based in Stilton / PE7, but the audit can support SMEs in other UK local markets where there is enough public evidence to review responsibly. The local context in the report is the client's trading area.

Do you need private figures?

The audit can start with public evidence, but some commercial points are stronger when the owner provides figures such as average order value, monthly enquiries, margin, customer retention or revenue mix. If figures are not supplied, the report flags the gap rather than guessing.

Is this a website audit?

Partly, but not only. The website is reviewed because it affects customer trust and enquiries. The full audit also looks at positioning, local competitors, customer sentiment, market context and practical commercial priorities.

Will you contact my competitors or customers?

No. The audit uses public evidence and information you choose to provide. It does not involve contacting competitors or customers.

Can you implement the recommendations?

The audit covers the report only. Implementation, supplier briefing, website changes or ongoing support would be separate if agreed.

Can you guarantee growth?

No. The audit gives practical commercial insight and recommended actions. It does not guarantee revenue, profit, rankings, leads or customer growth.

Can my business be used as a case study?

Only with written permission.
